Class 1 have had a fantastic time during Autumn 2, Miss Oakes and Mrs Meek are extremely proud of all of the children with how they have committed to their learning. It has been a very busy term, filled with lots of Christmas excitement. Class 1 have handled all of this really well and were amazing during our Nativity. Well done, for all of the hard work and practice you put in. Especially your singing!
This term we have a Geography focus. We are looking at locating the Equator as the midpoint between the Poles and locating the North and South Polar regions. We will also head up to Chase End Hill, for a trip to explore Human and Physical Geography.
As writers this term, we will be looking at the book ‘The Ginger Bread Man' . As a class, we will be immersing ourselves into the text by acting out different scenes, creating comic strips and writing recipes based around the yummy gingerbread men we will be making in class!
In Science we are becoming scientists with our topic 'Amazing Animals'. We will be exploring a range of different animal habitats and learning about the different life cycles.
