Shining Together, We Reach for the Stars.
All our children at Bromesberrow St Mary’s Primary School are our responsibility and concern. Our team are available to speak to regarding any concerns you may have. At Bromesberrow, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, with a number of policies and procedures to contribute to our safeguarding commitment, in accordance with the procedures required by Gloucestershire Safeguarding Children’s Partnership. As a school, we recognise many of our children live in Herefordshire therefore we accurately follow appropriate procedures to ensure our families get the support they need and our children are safe.
All children in school know they have trusted adults, who will listen to them should they want to share any concerns they have about their own safety or the well-being of others.
To safeguard and promote the welfare of our children, we will work cooperatively with other agencies. We will ensure that our concerns about our children are discussed with parents/carers first unless we have reason to believe that this would be contrary to the child’s welfare.
Designated Safeguarding Lead: Miss Leonie Mison
Deputy Safeguarding Lead: Mrs Elaine Thompson
Safeguarding Governor: Miss Sue Thornley
Early Help Offer:
At Bromesberrow, we are motivated to provide Early Help to our children and families to promote support as soon as we can. It respects every family’s right to access information to manage their own lives successfully, whilst seeking support from appropriate sources. Through our Early Help offer, we can provide support as soon as a problem emerges, at any point in a child’s life, to reduce or prevent concerns from growing or staying unresolved.
Early Help Co-ordinators: Mrs Laura Hankins and Miss Mison
Please do not hesitate to contact the school if you have any concerns.
